The Alcatel-Lucent Network Routing Specialist II (NRS II) certification
builds on the strong foundation established by the NRS I; and is a stepping
stone to the more advanced, revenue-generating service opportunities that can
be deployed with advanced IP and Ethernet technologies that use the
Alcatel-Lucent Service Router portfolio. The NRS II will be of great value to
junior and intermediate level engineers who want to take the next step in their
careers, advance to a senior network engineer/IP network architect level, and
work on the most advanced IP networks in the world. Specifically, operations
staff and network engineers will find the NRS II invaluable. On completion of
the NRS II certification, participants will understand basic protocols and how
Alcatel-Lucent IP solutions enable profitable new triple play consumer services
and enterprise-managed communication services.
The NRS II certification is valid for three years. Individuals will be
required to rewrite the Alcatel-Lucent Services Architecture exam (4A0-104) in
order to maintain a valid certification.
Individuals who obtain an Alcatel-Lucent Service Routing Certification will
receive a certification diploma. In addition to the certification diplomas,
individuals who pass a minimum of two exams from the SRC program will receive a
personalized SRC Exam Progress Plaque. Every time that you pass an exam from
the program, you will receive an associated exam tile acknowledging your
successful exam activity.
Diplomas and exam progress plaques/exam tiles are distributed within two
months of an individual’s SRC exam activity. Ensure that your mailing address
is correct by verifying, and if necessary, updating your profile with Prometric
at  http://www.prometric.com/alcatel-lucent.
Diplomas are sent by regular mail and exam progress plaques/tiles are sent by
courier.
